Prerequisite TC1 / TMI1 After achieving TC1 and TM1 and completing a minimum of 30 days of experience and demonstrating set up of 12 Traffic Management Plans the person is eligible to apply for the CAT 2 program Course Description TTM Category 2 Roads - comprises anything not in Category 1 or 3, or • any signalised intersection (work within 200m), or • multiple lanes in a single direction (excluding overtaking and turn lanes). TC2 and TMI2 High Volume Roads · 2-day Program 2 days theory and practical · 20 hours work development under supervision on CAT 2 roads. · Must be completed within 6 months of training date. Course Fees Individual fees $820 including, On enrollment $600 WPA $230 Business Coporate Rate will apply and discounts for group booking CITB funding available conditions apply. Assessment Requirement Completed the theory component of the program · Completes the three required TMI set ups CAT2 Roads within six months course date. The assessment is to be conducted on a live worksite the student must have a placement before being approved for the program. On Completion the Student will obtain a Certificate of Attainment · RIIWHS207 – Control traffic on high volume roads · RIIWHS304 – Implement Traffic Management Plans on High Volume Roads Will be issued with a temporary license, and be eligible for the SA Department Infrastructure Planning Ticket for CAT 2 Roads
