Our intensive 3-day Forklift Truck Operation course (customisable to suit workplace needs) equips participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a forklift truck. Upon successful completion of training and final assessment, participants will be eligible to apply for the issue of a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL).

The course fee includes all learning materials and initial assessment. Pre-course study is recommended, as this is a concentrated licensing program delivered over three consecutive days without interruption.

On successful completion of the first day of training, our RTO will issue the required Statement of Attainment, which is a prerequisite for the two-day licensing assessment conducted by a SafeWork SA–accredited assessor. The unit of competency is aligned with the licensing requirements of Part 4.5 of the Model Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations and meets Commonwealth, State and Territory HRWL standards. Assessment is conducted using the mandated National Assessment Instrument (NAI) for the relevant forklift licence class.

In South Australia, High Risk Work Licences can only be issued by SafeWork SA, and their requirements specify that an RTO-issued Statement of Attainment must be obtained prior to undertaking the licence assessment.
