Our same day AHCMOM213 – Operate and Maintain Chainsaws course equips participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate and maintain chainsaws in agricultural, forestry and land management environments.

Participants will learn how to plan and prepare work, select and correctly fit PPE, conduct pre-start checks, start, operate and shut down a chainsaw safely, identify workplace hazards and apply controls, perform basic cutting techniques, and carry out routine maintenance tasks such as chain sharpening, tensioning, cleaning and fault reporting. Training also covers safe handling, storage, and housekeeping in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturer requirements.

The course fee includes all learning materials, assessment, and training card issue. A CITB rebate may be available for eligible cardholders where applicable. Complete the booking and request an invoice.
